There are four islands on Lake Wallenpaupack - Cairns Island, Burns Island, Kipp Island, and Epply Island.
Epply Island is the largest island by Shuman’s Point, Rockledge and Sunny Point. It is here, that every July 4th the fireworks are launched. There are picnic tables, portable grilles and Porta John on the island.
Kipp Island is almost as large as Epply Island and is just west of the White Pines Townhouses. The island has a nice sandy beach area to park your boat.
Burns Island is just off shore from Lakeland Colony South and is the smallest island on the big lake. It is only a ¼ acre at best.
Cairns Island is nestled in a corner of the lake by The Escape and Lake Crest. This island is also wonderful for parking your boat on the south side of the island because of the calm waters and sandy beach area.
